“Visiting Emy Lakehouse was the highlight of my trip to Ireland. I felt like I was in on a hidden secret! I loved Emyvale's take on Irish life, and lovers of the outdoors can find plenty to do, in and around town, like visiting Castle Leslie or taking in the rolling hills. But with peaceful and idyllic Emy Lake right outside your doorstep you don't have to go far to get lost (in a good way!) on a long walk the 3km Emy Walkway. The house itself was clean and cozy, with well-equipped kitchens and truly luxurious showers and beds. Way better than many hotels I've stayed in! And with lake views from nearly every window, so you can escape but not forget where you are. The foyer has a sign that reads, "If you're not barefoot, then you're overdressed," and that I think sums up the feels-like-home vibe Emy Lakehouse will bring you! I am recommending Emy Lakehouse to family and friends, and would certainly visit again.”

“Stayed here recently with my family and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is modern and can comfortably sleep 12 people, each room has a double bed with two also having single beds. Its very clean and very well equipped. We were travelling with two young children and were provided with travel cots (without asking). Would definitely recommend!”

Seven of us stayed here for three nights while attending a wedding at Castle Leslie. It's only a five minute drive to the Castle. A few days holiday here cost less than one night in the hotel. While others were getting up in time to pack and check out, we were chilling, enjoying the view and setting off for a walk around the lake. Geraldine made sure we were comfortable at all times.
